GAN MIRIAM NURSERY

Gan Miriam Early Childhood Center

Gan Miriam of The Hebrew Institute of Riverdale is a Licensed Early
Childhood Center, which specializes in very young children- twenty
months old to Five years of age (Pre-K). Gan Miriam provides its young
"students" with a warm and stimulating traditional atmosphere. All
families are welcome regardless of background and religious affiliation.

The environment of the GAN is carefully structured to cater to the
intellectual, emotional and physical needs of each of our young
"students." Our purpose is to expose the child to (age and developmentally
appropriate) " Growth producing relationships", that is, to give the child
the opportunity to fully experience his present developmental stage.

The Gan staff is made up of a group of outstanding, dedicated, warm
and educated professionals. Our teachers are organizers of experiences
that enable our children to grow and learn.

Jewish education is an integral part of the curriculum of GAN MIRIAM.
In order to succeed in transmitting Jewish values to our young children
we set up their environment not only as a learning experience, but a way
of life. This approach fosters the growth of Jewish values from within.

The GAN is a " Home Away From Home" for our children and their families.
Parents feel encouraged to participate in their child's life in Gan and
to become partners in raising children. Parental support and involvement
are essential to the success of the GAN.

For registration information, please call 718-543-2553.
